HKREITA Welcomes SFC’s New REIT Channel and Streamlined Authorisation Process

Hong Kong REITS Association (HKREITA) welcomes the Securities and Futures Commission's (SFC) launch of the new REIT Channel to facilitate the authorisation of new real estate investment trusts (REITs) for public offerings. We are also pleased to note the SFC’s efforts to streamline the authorisation process and documentary requirements for REITs.

HKREITA supports the regulator’s ongoing efforts to advance the development of Hong Kong’s REIT market. As the representative voice of the REIT sector in Hong Kong, we remain dedicated to working closely with policymakers and stakeholders to promote the sustainable growth and competitiveness of the REIT market.
