Establishment of Hong Kong REITS Association

Hong Kong REITS Association Limited (“HKREITA” or “the Association”) was officially launched on 25 August 2022. A news conference and an inauguration ceremony were held at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, hosted by three Honorary Founding Presidents of the Association George Hongchoy, Lin Deliang and Hubert Chak, Executive Director and CEO of SF REIT.

The inauguration ceremony, officiated by Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR Government Paul Chan Mo-po, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui Ching-yu, and the Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission Lui Tim-leung, convened over a hundred of representatives from the REITs industry, regulators and political and business leaders to commemorate the notable moment.
